9:30 am to 5:00 pm

WILLIAMS LAKE STAMPEDE GROUNDS

  • 7:30 am Free Pancake Breakfast (only 800 available, first come first served)
  • 9:30 am Opening Ceremonies & Speeches
  • 10 am to 4 pm Artisan & Food Vendors
  • 1 pm Indian Relay Races – admission by donation
  • 1 pm Lahal tournament starts
  • 5:00 pm Food Truck Dinner for Lahal players (first 400)
  • Wagon Rides throughout
  • Health & Wellness Services on site

CHIEF WILLIAM POW WOW ARBOR

    • 5:00 Feast with speeches, story telling, and regalia dance – everyone welcome

The Orange Shirt Society was formed in Williams Lake by the founders of Orange Shirt Day to encourage and support communities to recognize Orange Shirt Day and to support reconciliation events and activities. Our goal is to create awareness of the individual, family and community inter-generational impacts of Indian Residential Schools through Orange Shirt Day activities, and to promote the concept of “Every Child Matters”.
